Horizons Project Update!
In June, 28 members of the TumTum/Lake Spokane Community got together to discuss and begin the planning for the next phase of this 18 month project.
Two of our County Commissioners, Merrill Ott & Larry Guenther; two representatives from Rural Resources, Kelly Scalf & Linda Daniels Norris; State Representative Shelly Short, Sheila Stalf representing Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rogers and Debra Kollock from WSU Extension, were also in attendance.
- Mobile Access to Resource Services (M.A.R.S.)
- Transportation within the lower Stevens County area to access services
- Cost effective internet access to provide educational, business and other opportunities
- Tax preparation & filing
- Financial classes
