Lake Spokane Alliance Purpose Statement
Our purpose is to develop innovative and sustainable economic, educational, social opportunities compatible with a rural lifestyle in the Tum Tum/Lake Spokane community and the surrounding area, uniting people of diverse backgrounds to reduce poverty, to enhance and develop cultural and natural resources, to develop alliances with surrounding communities, and to promote the common goals of the community, related organizations and celebrations in the community.

The Leadership plenty classes have been great. I have learned a lot in just the few classes that we have had. Getting to use the new skills has really made me feel empowered. The soup and salad has been really good too.
The Horizons 'Get Together" in Springdale was awesome. meeting with other Horizon Community members, networking and sharing. The workshops were well organized and helpful, it was interesting to see some of the techniques from Leadershiplenty being used. Jan Klein's presentation on YAPS was very helpful and thought provoking
